The Pentax K-70 is equipped with an APS-C sensor that provides 24 megapixels of sufficient resolution, and this is paired with Pentax’s latest 3″, 921k dots to give a native sensitivity range of ISO 100-102,400 along with a maximum burst speed of 6.0 fps. Compact and lightweight, the Pentax K-70 is designed to go everywhere you go. The Pentax K-70's high ISOs are more than enough, but nothing supreme. At ISO 102,400 there is some noise, just like ISO 100 film. This Compact SLR camera’s worthy 24 megapixels full frame sensor is one of the best on the market and has become a staple in the arsenals of many an adventure and travel photographer. The sophisticated, worldly-wise and advanced camera saw the daylight on 2016-06-08. Since then, it has become an accessible and state-of-the-art camera among wildlife photographers. Its 3″-inch 921k dots LCD (sans touchscreen) flips 180 degrees for stunning selfies upward.

The new display is a bit dimmer than its predecessor's, so it can be tricky to use in sunlight, even at maximum brightness.

The Pentax K-70 is equipped with a 100% viewfinder with a magnification of around Optical (pentaprism) and coverage. However, it’s the in-body IS system that delivers most of the best tricks. Most obviously, it promises sharper images at slow shutter speeds with almost any lens you can mount. Photographers who shoot sports, wildlife or energized toddlers will especially appreciate faster shooting rates, this camera can shoot at 6.0 fps. The new AF module includes 11 phase-detection AF points, located in the central portion of the viewfinder. Pentax cameras have some of the most excellent autofocus systems available. The camera is waterproof up to 50 feet, so you can take it snorkeling with you. All Compact SLR cameras come with at least one SD memory card slot, although an increasing number of high-end models sport two.

Pentax K-70 has a Pentax KAF2 lens mount and currently there are 144 lenses available for this mount. The 24 megapixels images it can capture are among the best in its class, as is the available lens ecosystem. Choosing Pentax brand also opens the doors to endless creative opportunity with the large number of colorful respectable lenses on offer. The intuitive body has a pleasing heft and a size that's great for nature, wedding or landscapes shooting and even better for video ,where extra weight actually helps with stability. Somewhat, the modified Pentax K-70 itself feels like a high-class imaging device, with an elegant, beautiful and stylish design and easy to use navigation. First of all, it's worth noting that it comes with a fresh selection of original accessories, which can expand its capabilities even further. A camera with CMOS 24 megapixels sensor and Fully Articulated 3″ LCD screen or more will suit beginners just fine. The camera's weight (688g) is very optimal, so it's good for people traveling a lot, for studio and other occasions. A chunky rubber cover on the other side of the camera protects HDMI, USB and a power-in ports, while earphone and microphone sockets are found above. The camera has a 4K video (with 1920 x 1080 resolution and MPEG-4, H.264 video formats), which is a very excellent choice for video shooters.

Needless to say, image quality from the Pentax K-70 is exceptional, vivid, expressive and sharp. Capture a astonishing photos revealing an worthy wide dynamic range, but with less noise and rich color rendering than ever before. Finally, I should also mention that in my review of the Pentax K-70, I found it to be a hugely fun camera to shoot with. Moderately it has all the upgraded enhancements that we was waiting along with a few incredible features in a body that feels well made and intuitive in the hand. If you already have an investment in another camera system, consider it as a backup.
