The BeBop 2 by Parrot is the newest drone width flight time of 25 minutes that is taking flight and stealing the hearts of the masses. While there are a lot of aerial photography drones currently on the market, this one is very different. Parrot captures the image with its 4096 x 3072 pixels resolution HD camera. You can see the small antenna sticking out of the back of the drone, which is used to transmit the captured video or images to your smartphone using wifi.
A very feature rich drone with all you need for high-quality, incredible and advanced performance flights for a very affordable price. It's quite compact for a fantastic, stunning and innovative drone, and very light at 500 g. On the durability, the company said that the BeBop 2 is made of solid Glass fiber reinforced (20%) PA12 and Grilamid structure that is hard to break. The intelligent battery that comes with the quadcopter offers up to 25 minutes of flight time, which is pretty good for a drone of its size.
It guarantees to take an hour to charge, no more or less, even if the percentage it was charged at is different each time. The Remote Controller itself is well built, and it feels like a good fit. The video capture and transmission to take up power, so it would be worth investing in a higher capacity battery. Complete FPV package, a comprehensive set of features including GPS. Focus on the photograph or video, while drone automatically follows you. In case if you lose connection to your drone from transmitter due to a specific reason, then FailSafe mode will be automatically switched on, and your device will reach home safely.
Parrot BeBop 2 Design & Flight
This drone is an excellent experience for someone who wants to try out an FPV capable quadcopter. You can enjoy so many features that are enabled with GPS controls like Auto Return Home, Follow Me, Altitude Mode and Headless Mode. Since the drone tracks the remote and autonomously follows it, without any pilot’s input, it is perfect for selfies. Other amazingly useful features are Barometer Altitude Hold: drone will lock on a specific height and maintain it autonomously without pilot’s input.
Despite the wind problem, this drone is a very steady drone to fly. It's easy to fly and control, and I had no problem connecting to the cell app. It has been designed to be very easy to fly, which is great if you’re a beginner who wants a drone that can capture great images from the air, with crystal clear resolution qualities. A video is sharp & detailed on the record I’d say it’s one of the best in its class BUT video feed to controller breaks up a bit, not horrible, just would prefer cleaner. When it comes to image quality, things are looking great as long as you’re recording in daylight and with no strong wind present.
We recommend flying in high mode as it makes the drone the most responsive. Parrot wanted people to be able to tell their story using a drone and just made it easier for anyone to do so. BeBop 2 is designed with a remarkable, forward-looking and innovative like a charm where all components are well adjusted inside a perfectly finished frame. It has tons of character, is very affordable and accessible to maintain, and can give you a wild ride, it is now my favorite drone.
