Nikon Coolpix P7000 Review

The Nikon Coolpix P7000 by Nikon is one of the best Compact cameras money can buy. Innovative camera was presented on 2010-11-23. But it's still favorite, conversant and up-to-date. If you are shooting a football game on a dark field at night, or need to avoid blur while walking around then ISO 3,200 is very useful. Image quality is excellent, with the top-grade sensor delivering as much detail as you’ll see from any camera that costs under 4.00. The Nikon Coolpix P7000 is equipped with an 80% viewfinder with a magnification of around Optical (tunnel) and coverage. You can navigate through the camera's settings and marvelous features on its high-quality 3″-inch LCD display. The new display is a bit dimmer than its predecessor's, so it can be tricky to use in sunlight, even at maximum brightness. Before buying an Compact camera, check to see if it has the AEB functionality. For example, this camera had the AEB functionality but some more expensive models do not.

The camera has Multi-Segment metering mode what takes reflectivity information from the entire scene to try to achieve a balanced exposure for the whole scene, which gives the photographer a more precise measurement of the light. Magnesium alloy construction and environmental sealing make the camera as comfortable in the field as in the studio. In my experience, the battery life, even with High Performance mode enabled, seemed better than the rated battery life, but an extra battery is still a good idea. Other key bits of the camera include a rich set of connectivity settings and easy controls. Despite the great photos quality, the Nikon Coolpix P7000 isn't the excellent gear for shooting video. It uses a 99 point AF system which delivers accurate and quick focus when you need it. Needless to say, image quality from the Nikon Coolpix P7000 is exceptional, not oversaturated, detailed and sharp. In the hand, the beautiful Nikon Coolpix P7000 feels really great and surprisingly never hurt my wrist at all carrying it all day long. Almost every available surface of the body is covered with buttons, dials and switches.
